Our pup had that (she’s a boxer though) and we switched her to a higher protein food, Orijen. She is much less gassy now.

Hello, I am a proud owner and breeder of Frenchies. I have found that Nature’s Recipe (dog food) is the best at reduceing the smell of the gas but not the amount. Most dog foods have fillers in them and I belive it to be the reason for the bad gas smell. If you get a dog food with little to ne “MEAL” in it then it should help with the gas. Meal is hard to get threw the system as it is and even harder for frenchies as they have very delicate systems. If you have any other questions feel free to write me back…
